Welcome

This site provides information for people in the Ipswich area who care about the environment and want to live in a sustainable way.

You can see details of events being held locally, covering a wide range of subjects from conservation and wildlife to organic gardening. The list pulls together information from a number of local groups.

If you'd like to meet up with other like-minded people, you can find out about groups that meet in the Ipswich area.

We live in a consumer society where over-consumption is driving environmental degradation. If everyone in the world lived as we do in the UK we would need three planets to support us.

Three Planets

The challenge is to find ways of living and working where we can reduce our consumption by two thirds to a sustainable and globally equitable level.
