- Encouraging people to walk, cycle or take the bus in town.
- Could we get some of the roads closed on Sundays - like they do in Bogotá, Columbia and a number of other cities - and encourage people to get out and walk, cycle, rollerskate, skateboard, etc.? About Us
Transition Towns is about using our collective talents and unique local knowledge to make our community more resilient to the growing social pressures of Peak Oil and Climate Change. Many towns around the country are now well on their way to putting into practice a local energy descent plan and they look like they're having a pretty good time as well.
