Access to Nature Ipswich

The a2nipswich project ran from June 2010 to May 2013.  During that time we worked with thousands of people, delivered hundreds of events, broadcast radio shows, produced newsletters and films, and did hundreds of hours of conservation work.  All this work was carried out by fantastic volunteers, who we are sure will be carrying on the good work into the future.

Autumn activitiesIf you are interested in finding out about what we did, or would like to do something similar yourself, this website tells you a bit about the places we worked in and what we did.  On the resources page you can read our final evaluation report and see our films and photos, as well as how-to guides to some of our activities and case studies of some of our work.  You will also find resource lists of useful contacts, including CSV, the Greenways Project and our other partner organisations, and potential sources of funding.

We have had a brilliant three years working with you all.  From bonfires to bushcraft, birds to butterflies, in sunshine and in snow, we’ve had a wonderful time with all you wonderful people and we hope that we have left you with some happy memories and a desire to continue accessing and caring for the beautiful green places of Ipswich into the future.

With many thanks and very best wishes

Becky, Steve, Jon and Flo – the a2nipswich team
