The Friends of Belstead Brook Park (FoBBP) are a group of local volunteers that help look after the Park for the benefit of its users and local wildlife. We work closely with the Greenways Countryside Project, Pinewood Parish Council and other partners interested in the Park. You can now follow us on our Facebook Page.
Our next Work Party event will be on Saturday 11th March between 10am and 1pm, meeting in Bobbits Lane car park. The plan is to gravel the muddy sections of path around Spring Wood and clear up any litter next to the A14 layby as our contribution to the Great British Spring Clean event being held over the weekend of 4/5th March. Please wear your old clothes, sturdy old boots and bring your personal gloves. All the necessary tools, spare gloves and equipment plus refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Future planned practical conservation work events for 2017:
Saturday 8th April 10am – 1pm
Saturday 13th May 10am – 1pm
Saturday 10th June 10am – 1pm
The very popular Spring Wood Day festival will be on Monday 1st May 2017.
If you’re interested in taking part, please join our mailing list so that you receive details of what we’ll be doing and where to meet.
