Motorbike problem – November 2016

Motorbikes are still a problem in the park and the wooded areas with reported damage also to some of the kissing gates. This has been mentioned to the police by James Baker (Greenways manager) at a recent Police Liaison meeting.

If anyone sees any motorbikes, or anti-social behaviour in the park, they should report it to the police by phoning 101. Although the police will not necessarily respond to the incident at that time, it will be recorded in their Safer Neighbour reports and thereby gain greater priority.

On no account should they be approached or challenged as they could turn very nasty. Also please do not take photos of them as this can also inflame any situation. Just make notes of the incident for later reporting to the police.
